We’re excited to welcome the Elmhurst Farmers Market to its new home this summer. Like many of you, we were saddened by the thought that the market might disappear entirely this year, as the sponsoring association was no longer able to continue its operation. Thankfully, a path forward opened up — and we’re honored to help ensure the market not only survives, but grows. The new location offers more space for vendors, community programming, and yes — easier parking too. We know change can be hard—especially for those who enjoyed walking to the old site—but we’re hopeful this new chapter will help the market thrive for years to come. For those looking for a market within walking distance of downtown, the Elmhurst French Market remains a great choice as well. We appreciate your support and can’t wait to see you this summer!
We love Nichol’s Farm! I love that Roughedges Confectionery will be right next to them. Can’t wait for June 4th!
So thrilled the tradition carries on!

We can't promise Nate and Lou Ann at the our market, but we will definitely have Jake's Country Meats again this year when we start up Wednesday June 4th!Nate and Lou Ann have spent decades loading trucks, packing orders, and helping folks find just the right cut at the farmers market.
These days, they spend more weekends chasing grandkids than packing coolers—but every once in a while, they jump back in to help bring Jake’s to market.
This weekend, you’ll find Nate at the very first Downers Grove market on Saturday, and Lou Ann back in Wilmette, where she’s known for remembering your favorite cut and catching up like no time has passed. The rest of the crew will be at Wheaton & Green City on Saturday, with the first Logan market on Sunday.
They started Jake’s over 25 years ago—building the farm from scratch, raising animals with care, and showing up at market tables long before “local food” was a trend.
If you’re headed to market, stop by and say hi. They’d love to see you—and you’ll probably walk away with a good story and something delicious for the weekend.
